Top architectural designs with a focus on sustainable on show at Diên Hồng Garden

HÀ NỘI - An exhibition displaying the top residential, interior and green building designs is on at Diên Hồng Flower Garden, Hoàn Kiếm District.
The display includes 28 outstanding projects in the Residential, Interior, and Green categories which won the Top 10 Awards 2023. It is an annual award sponsored by the Việt Nam Association of Architects, the Việt Nam Green Building Council (VGBC), the Việt Nam Interior Design Association and ICHAM.
"Interior designs are updated and effective," said architect Lê Trương, head of the jury of the Interior Design. "Unlike architectural works, which can have a very long cycle, interiors can change every year. It proves proves that the Vietnamese furniture market is developing."
The exhibition celebrates designers whose architectural and interior plans which are not just functional and aesthetic, but also create humane and sustainable ideas connected with the natrual world.
Now in its sixth year, the 2023 season attracted a record number of 363 submissions, demonstrating the growing appeal and increasing sense of social responsibility of Vietnamese architects and designers.
In just its first year, The Top 10 Green Project Awards received 76 entries, an impressive number reflecting the growing emphasis on green and sustainable designs.
According to the organising committee, the Top 10 Houses Awards category received 157 projects in many genres, ranging from urban housing to rural residences and mixed-use models combining housing and commercial space.
Co-organised by the Hoàn Kiếm District People's Committee and Kienviet Media, the exhibition introduces the public to typical housing, interior and green building designs from 2023.
The exhibition runs till July 8 at Diên Hồng Flower Garden, Ngô Quyền Street, Hoàn Kiếm District. - VNS
