THÁI BÌNH — A five-year-old boy was pronounced dead late Wednesday evening after being left in a school bus in Thái Bình Province.

According to preliminary reports, the child, identified by his initials as T.G.H., was taken from his house to Hồng Nhung 2 Preschool with his classmates by their teacher Q.A.

H.’s family could not find him when they came to the school to pick him up in the afternoon.

He was later found in the school bus and was rushed to the emergency room at Thái Bình Provincial Hospital, where he passed away.

The highest temperature in Thái Bình Province on Wednesday registered at 36 degrees Celsius.

Phú Xuân Commune’s authorities confirmed that H. was living with his maternal grandmother while his mother was away for work.
