Accordingly, the price of biofuel E5 RON92 was capped at VND22,170 per litre, dropping by VND110 per litre, while that of RON95-III was cut by VND120 per litre to no more than VND23,170.
Elsewhere, the price of diesel oil declined by VND330 to VND20,500 per litre, while that of kerosene fell by VND370 to no more than VND20,660 per litre.
Meanwhile, mazut 180CST 3.5S was capped at VND17,610 per kilo, marking a fall of VND170 per kilo compared to the previous adjustment.
In the latest price adjustment, the two ministries decided not to use the petrol and oil price stabilization fund.
Since the beginning of this year, petrol prices have undergone 29 adjustments, with 13 times up, 9 times down, and 7 mixed changes.
