Over 320 exhibitors engage in MTA Vietnam 2024

More than 320 exhibitors from over 15 countries globally attended the 20th International Precision Engineering, Machine Tools and Metalworking Exhibition and Conference (MTA Vietnam 2024) which officially opened on July 2 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Upon addressing the event, Nguyen Quan, chairman of the Vietnam Automation Association, emphasised that the function has provided an ideal venue for both domestic and foreign businesses to introduce their latest cutting-edge products and services, strengthen connectivity, and apply new technologies into production activities.

On display across 13 international booths at the expo are a range of diverse products such as metal cutting and shaping machines, sheet metal, casting and molds, welding technology, automation technology, raw materials, and other equipment and support services.

The highlight of the four-day expo was the Vietnam Industrial Robotics and Automation Event, which saw the display of advanced automation technologies from many leading firms such as Fanuc, Universal Robot, Eco Smart, IDEA, Vimala, and Eurorack.

Furthermore, a robot competition titled "MTA Challenges" will be held at the event for the second time.

Ha Minh Hiep, deputy director general in charge of the Directorate for Standards, Metrology, and Quality, stated that the function is held in the context of digitalisation and the transition to green production, thereby helping firms to get updates on the latest trends globally and transfer technologies in an effort to achieve sustainable development.
