According to the search engine, in Q2, National Reunification Day on April 30 trended the most. Most notably, the marching parade commemorating the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory over French colonialism also garnered significant user interest.
“The search term Dien Bien Phu became the second-most trending in the general Travel topic and most trending in Domestic Travel topic, witnessing a remarkable growth of 443% in search volume,” it stressed.
Furthermore, during summertime, users demonstrated a growing interest in destinations related to beach holidays. Notable sites were Phu Yen, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc, with increases of 52%, 35%, and 19%, respectively, in search volume compared to the previous quarter.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 and ChatGPT emerged as the top tech-related search keywords among Vietnamese users on the Coc Coc search engine in Q2.
The report also revealed that entertainment content led the way in search volume, increasing nearly 3.5 times compared to the previous quarter. Searches related to travel, sports, finance, real estate, and technology also enjoyed significant growth.
