Miss International Vietnam 2024 to kick off in October

Miss International Vietnam 2024 is scheduled to take place from October to December, according to Pham Kim Dung, head of the beauty pageant’s organising board and president of Sen Vang Entertainment Company.

The preliminary round, press conference, and traditional costume competition will take place in October, while the interview stage, crown announcement ceremony, final round, and sub-contests will be held in December.

Dung said that the winner of the Miss International Vietnam 2024 will represent the country in the future by competing at Miss International 2025, which is set to take place on November 12 in Tokyo Dome City Hall.

First launched back in 1960, Miss International is one of the four largest international beauty pageants, alongside Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth.

In previous editions, Vietnamese representatives were able to win high prizes, including Pham Hong Thuy Van who finished as the third runner-up in 2015, Tuong San who was among the Top 8 in 2019, and Nguyen Phuong Nhi who was a Top 15 finalist.
