The German Embassy in Vietnam launched a logo design contest on June 18 aimed at marking the upcoming 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries (1975- 2025).

The selected logo will be used for a myriad of events, marketing activities, websites, posters, and other purposes throughout the upcoming year as part of wider efforts to celebrate Vietnam-Germany diplomatic relations.

Logos should be designed with the key colours of the two countries’ flags whilst also including the number 50.

The competition is open to professionals and amateurs, agencies, institutions, groups, or individuals aged above 18 with residence in either Vietnam or Germany. Employees and relatives of the German Embassy in Hanoi or the Vietnamese Embassy in Berlin may not take part in the competition.

The digitized form of the logo in common should be file formats (JPG, GIF), as well as vector graphics (EPS, SVG).  Contestants can send their entries to the following address: kultbot@gmail.com.

All entries must be submitted to the judging panel by August 15.

The winner will receive a cash prize of VND20 million and a return flight ticket between Vietnam and Germany. The second and third prizes will be awarded VND10 million and VND5 million, respectively.
