Local model to represent Vietnam at Miss Global 2024

Hailing from Da Lat city, 33-year-old Nhu Van was the first runner-up in The New Mentor reality television series back kin 2023.

She has experience working as a coach in several beauty pageants, including Miss Vietnam and Miss World Vietnam.

Nhu Van will compete in Miss Global 2024, with the preliminary round held in Cambodia from February 24 to March 2, 2025. The beauty contest’s semi-final and final rounds are set to take place from March 3 to March 9, 2025, in Thailand.

According to the organisers of Miss Global Vietnam 2024 pageant, model Kieu Thi Thuy Hang will represent Vietnam at Miss Global 2025.

Hang, 24, from Hanoi finished in the Top 15 of Miss Universe Vietnam 2019, in the Top 10 of Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023, and claimed the first runner-up title at Miss Eco Vietnam 2022.

The Miss Global pageant was first held back in 2013. It is the only pageant in the world with the widest age ranging from 18 to 35 years old.

Vietnam has previously sent several beauties to compete in the beauty contests. Most recently, Doan Thu Thuy, the Vietnamese representative at Miss Global 2023, won the fourth runner-up title in the grand final of the competition held in Cambodia on January 18 this year.
