Nguyen Tuong San, first runner-up of Miss International Queen Vietnam 2023, has been named as the country’s representative to Miss International Queen 2024, a beauty contest specifically held for transgender women.

The 19-year-old girl hailing from Khanh Hoa province stands at 1.79 metres tall with body measurement of 83-56-84 cm.

Tuong San and her opponent An Nhi, the second runner-up of Miss International Queen Vietnam 2023, had to compete with each other to find out the candidate to Miss International Queen 2024.

The two transgender beauties competed in national costume, swimsuit, evening gown, and Q&A segments.

Tuong San impressed both judges and audiences through her confident performance and her answer in the Q&A part about community projects.

She is set to fly to Thailand for Miss International Queen 2024 in August.

This year will be the 18th edition of the contest and Solange Dekker of the Netherlands will crown her successor during the final night on August 24.

Singer Nguyen Huong Giang was the first Vietnamese representative winning Miss International Queen 2018.
