Tourists in Nha Trang City
Speaking at a meeting held on Sunday in Nha Trang City to celebrate the outstanding results made of the local tourism industry in the first nine months of 2024, chairman of the Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, Hoang Van Vinh, Khanh Hoa said that they had started a campaign beginning October until the end of 2024.
"Many hotels, resorts and other tourism services providers will join the campaign," Vinh said. "During the final months of this year, foreign tourists booking six nights at local 3-5 star hotels omwill get one night free, while domestic guests booking four nights will get one night free," Vinh said. "They will also be given discounts of between 10-20 percent when using other services at these hotels."
Vinh shared that Khanh Hoa has already achieved its target of receiving nine million tourists set earlier this year.
"Khanh Hoa served nine million visitors, earning VND44.14 trillion in the first nine months of this year, up 57.9 percent and 61.9 percent, respectively, on year," Vinh said. "Of the figure, 3.6 million were foreign visitors and 5.4 percent were domestic, an increase of 147.9 percent and 27.2 percent, respectively, on year."
The province welcomed around seven million tourists in 2023.
Korea, China, Kazakhstan, Thailand, and Malaysia have been among the main sources of foreign visitors.
