Hung Yen native set to represent Vietnam at Miss Earth 2024

Cao Ngoc Bich, hailing from the norther province of Hung Yen, will vie for the Miss Earth 2024 crown in the Philippines this November.

The 25-year-old beauty stands at 1.74 metres tall and now works for a construction company in Hanoi.

Most notably, Bich previously experienced participating in beauty pageants and won several prizes, including finishing among the Top 41 of Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, the Top 10 of Miss Charm Vietnam 2023, and the Top 10 of Miss Earth Vietnam 2023.

Miss Earth is an annual international major beauty pageant based in the Philippines that advocates for environmental awareness, conservation, and social responsibility.

Along with Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss International, it represents one of the Big Four beauty pageants.

This year the Miss Earth beauty pageant began from late October and its final night is scheduled to take place in Manila in the Philippines on November 9. The latest version of the event marks the 24th edition of the pageant, gathering together over 90 contestants worldwide.

In previous versions of the function, Vietnamese representatives achieved a number of strong results, with Nam Em finishing among the leading eight contestants, Ha Thu making the top 16, whilst Phuong Khanh was crowned at Miss Earth 2018 in the Philippines.

Last year saw Do Thi Lan Anh, the Vietnamese representative at the Miss Earth 2023 pageant, honoured with the Miss Earth Water title, equal to a runner-up, in the grand final held on December 22 in Ho Chi Minh City.
