Ho Chi Minh City to host Vietnam Bakery Cup 2024

The Vietnam Bakery Cup 2024, the first international cake making contest in Vietnam, is scheduled to take place from December 11 to 14 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

Organised by the Vietnam Bakery Association (VBA) and the Saigon Professional Chef’s Guild (SPC), the Vietnam Bakery Cup 2024 is supported by the Worldchefs and the International Union of Bakers and Confectioners (UIBC).

According to the organising board, the contest will attract the participation of 400 to 500 local and international chefs, with judges coming from 20 countries across the world.

Vietnam Bakery Cup is a prominent event in the field of artistic baking, where both local and international chefs come together to showcase their talents and professional skills, it added.

The contest is expected to be a golden opportunity to introduce the cultural and economic values ​​of the Vietnamese bakery industry, and to promote the Vietnamese culinary industry as a whole.

A number of seminars, talk shows, and exhibitions introducing raw bakery materials will also be held within the framework of the contest.
