The event will run from December 5 to January 1, 2025, and will feature specialties from the northwest and northeast regions, whilst demonstrations of traditional handicraft making and folk games will also be held.
Folk songs and dances from the Mong, Tay, Nung, and Dao ethnic people are also expected to impress viewers during the course of the event.
The activities will draw the participation of more than 100 people from 16 ethnic minority groups from 11 localities nationwide.
Furthermore, traditional rituals and festivals of ethnic groups across the country will be reproduced.
Visitors to the function will also have the chance to sample special dishes from ethnic minority groups such as “rượu cần”, wine drunk out of a jar through pipes, and a horse meat called “thắng cố”, which is a traditional dish of the Mong ethnic group residing in the mountainous northwestern region.
