Vietnamese airlines plan to conduct a total of 4,257 flights from August 30 to September 3 in an effort to meet increasing travel demand during the National Day holiday period, up 3.5% year on year, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam.

This figure is equivalent to an average of 840 flights per day, including 600 flights on domestic routes and 240 flights on international routes.

The number of seats for domestic routes during the reviewed period stands at an estimated 600,000, surging by 5% compared to the week before the four-day holiday and 1.5% year on year.
