The Hanoi Days in Ho Chi Minh City programme was held in HCM City from April 23 to 25 to mark the 70th anniversary of the capital city's liberation on October 10, 1954.

The event, which took place on Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, featured various activities, including photo exhibitions and replica displays of Hanoi's key historical sites, such as Long Bien Bridge, Hoan Kiem Lake, and Dong Xuan Market.

The programme displayed many traditional craft villages, agricultural products, and typical OCOP (One Commune, One Product) products from Hanoi.

Visitors had a chance to enjoy different kinds of Hanoi specialities, such as young green rice, Thanh Tri, and fried fermented pork rolls.

According to Nguyen Thu Ha, vice chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Committee, this was a good opportunity for visitors to understand more about Hanoi's history, unique culture, and heritage and also helped intensify the relationship between the two cities.
