Hai Phong student to vie for Miss Supranational 2025 crown

Vo Cao Ky Duyen, a student hailing from the northern coastal city of Hai Phong, has secured a ticket to compete in Miss Supranational 2025 after being crowned 2024 Miss Tourism Vietnam Global.

The student from Vietnam Maritime University overcame 39 contestants during the finale on September 21 evening to take the crown.

The beauty stands at 1.75 metres tall with body measurement of 84-60-97 cm. She impressed both judges and audiences with her excellent answer in the Q&A part about Vietnamese cuisine which she said plays an important role in promoting tourism and attracting international tourists.

The first runner-up was Do Ha Trang, 25, who will represent Vietnam at the Miss Globe 2024 beauty pageant, while second runner-up Pham Hoang Thu Uyen, 27, will go on to compete at the Miss Tourism World 2024 pageant.

The organisers also gave prizes to several sub-contest winners, including Miss Talent, Miss Fashion, and Miss Sports.

The 2024 Miss Tourism Vietnam Global pageant was launched in June with the aim of seeking beauties to take on the role of promoting both Vietnamese tourism and culture.

Miss Supranational was first held in 2009. Since its launch it has developed into one of the most prestigious beauty contests in the world, alongside Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss Earth.

Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen of Can Tho achieved the best ever results of any Vietnamese representative at Miss Supranational by claiming the second runner-up title during the 2022 pageant.
