Accordingly, at 9:30 a.m. on November 21, the Saigon Gold and Jewelry Company (SJC) lifted SJC-branded gold prices to VND83.7 million per tael for buying, and VND86.2 million per tael for selling, marking an increase of VND500 million compared to the previous session.
Furthermore, prices of gold bars at ACB Bank were quoted at VND85.5 million and VND87 million per tael for buying and selling, representing respective rises of VND1 million.
Gold prices extended its uptrend for the fourth consecutive day and are currently at their highest level over the past three weeks. Similarly, gold rings also witnessed a surge.
Accordingly, the SJC traded gold rings were at VND83.6 million per tael for buying and VND85.7 million for selling, both up VND800,000 compared to the previous day.
Elsewhere, prices of gold rings at PNJ Company went up to VND84.5 million per tael for buying and VND85.5 million per tael for selling.
Meanwhile, the selling price of gold rings at DOJI Group and Bao Tin Minh Chau Company stood at VND85.3 million and VND85.28 million per tael, respectively.
The prices of both gold bars and gold rings in the domestic market have continued to soar amid a strong recovery of global gold prices.
Prices in the global market increased to US$2,656 an ounce on November 21, up nearly US$20 per ounce compared to the previous session.
