French band Funkindustry to tour around Hanoi and HCM City

Funkindustry, a French band famous in Asia for their “Do it” song, will hold concerts in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi on October 18 and October 19, respectively.

Funkindustry consists of six members hailing from Strasbourg in France, namely singer and guitarist Nathan Clavier, bass guitarist Jean-Mathieu Clavier, keyboardist François-Xavier Laurent, drummer David Forget, saxophonist Rémi Psaume, and trumpeter Nicolas Koenig.

Established back in 2014, the band draws its vitality from the variety and mix of 20th century Afro-American music, while also combining with flavour the raw and catchy gimmicks of funk, with the smooth melodies of R’n’B, dipping into the sensuality of jazz-funk music.

Before making debut their album “Let’s do it again”, Funkindustry released a mini-album titled “Step & Stains”.

Since 2021, the band has collaborated with many Japanese and international artists to release popular products such as "Suddenly", "Another one", "Midnight city lovers", and "I want you closer".

The French band has also held many successful tours in Japan and other Asian countries.

Two night concerts in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City this October are part of French band Funkindustry’s Asian tour, which will also hit the stages of Indonesia, Japan, and Taiwan (China).
