The National Day holiday will last four days this year, starting on August 31.

According to Nguyen Van Phuc, director of the Thua Thien-Hue Department of Tourism, the locality will organise cultural and sports activities for tourists during the holiday, including a boat race on the Huong River, a jogging event, and artistic performances.
Hotels in Hue will provide visitors with local culinary experiences and traditional craft products.
Thua Thien-Hue is expected to welcome 120,000 visitors over the National Day holiday, including 16,500 foreign arrivals.
Most hotels in the centre of Hue have been fully booked for the holiday.
Vietnam Railways are giving discounted tickets to groups and individual travellers to raise the number of tourists visiting Hue by train.
Phu Bai Airport in Thua Thien-Hue plans to serve 330 flights with 59,400 passengers between August 28 and September 3.
