A wide range of activities will take place during the Winter Festival 2024 and the Spring Festival 2025, set to last from December to the end of March 2025.
A highlight of the programme will be a countdown party starting 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, with the participation plenty of Vietnamese singers and dancers. A 15-minute fireworks show will start at midnight to ring in the New Year.
The first 50 tourists to Sa Pa in 2025 will receive special gifts at a ceremony held at Sa Pa ethnic cultural park on January 1 morning.
An art programme will be held on January 1 evening that is expected to draw the participation of many artists from the Mong, Dao, Tay, and Giay ethnic groups.
In addition, visitors will also have the chance to discover the ethnic culture, traditional crafts, music, and folk games through a photo exhibition held in Sa Pa town from January 1 to February 12, 2025.
Guests will be able to enjoy the traditional festival of various ethnic groups such as the Xoe festival of the Tay ethnic group, the Roong Pooc festival of the Giay ethnic group, and the Dao ethnic culture festival in February and March.
Moreover, a volleyball tournament and the first pickleball tournament Fansipan Cup - Spring Series will be organised.
