China and Finland have been chosen as the best teams of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024 (DIFF) and will progress to the final competition, according to the organising board.

The best two teams will compete against each other on the final night of the competition themed “Made of Young Generation” on July 13.

The organising board revealed that, after four shows in the qualification round, each team showed off their own unique techniques and identities, creating outstanding performances to satisfy audiences.

It is interesting that both Finland and China were also the two teams playing each other in the fourth qualifying show on June 29 evening.

It has been announced that the winner will receive a prize of US$20,000, along with a trophy and certificate, while the runner-up will receive US$10,000, plus a trophy and certificate.

Furthermore, two additional prizes worth US$5,000 each will be presented to the most creative team and the team that receives the most votes from audiences.

First launched in 2008, Da Nang is the only place in Vietnam to have hosted a fireworks festival, making it a magnet for the best fireworks producers from around the world each year.
