A bamboo forest in the northern mountainous province of Cao Bang has attracted more visitors thanks to its stunning beauty.

Nguyen Binh Bamboo Forest in Thanh Cong Commune is some 160 kilometres from Hanoi. It is home to thousands of bamboo trees.

The bamboo forest was previously a source of materials for producing household items. Gradually, it has become a favourite check-in spot for many tourists.

The forest covers 40 hectares and is over 1,000 metres above sea level. The vast green space of bamboo trees captivates the eyes of visitors along the road from Nguyen Binh to Bao Lac districts.

The more visitors enter the forest, the more they can feel the freshness and coolness of nature and hear the birds singing in the early morning.

Hoang Huy Hieu, 25, from Nam Dinh Province, was impressed by the beauty of the forest. It reminded him of a bamboo forest in Kyoto, Japan.

From the forest, it is convenient for tourists to explore the Phja Oac Mountain area, Kolia Tea Plantation, and the villages of the Dao Tien ethnic minority group.
