An exhibition showcasing Korean webtoon comics themed K-Comics World Tour will be organised from September 7 to 22 at the Vincom Center for Contemporary Art in Hanoi.

Two webtoon works "Itaewon Class" and "Sweet Home", which were once adapted into a TV series and reached the Top 1 of the most popular films on Netflix in Vietnam in 2020, will be introduced to visitors.

The organisers will set up a model of a pub and Itaewon alley which feature in the webtoon work "Itaewon Class" by author KwangJin, as well as an abandoned apartment building with monsters inside in the work "Sweet Home" by authors Kim Carnby and Hwang Youngchan.

The exhibition also includes a range of diverse experience spaces, such as painting webtoons, stamping webtoon postcards, making dishes in Korean pubs, trying on costumes, and taking photos.

Furthermore, an award ceremony of a webtoon drawing competition will be held on September 7.

In addition, the organisers will hold a trade connection programme for businesses operating in the webtoon comic industry.
