Construction started on a US$260 million automotive engine manufacturing plant at the Chan May – Lang Co Economic Zone in Thua Thien – Hue province on August 23 by Kim Long Motor Hue and China's Yuchai Corporation.
Vietjet and Rolls-Royce, a renowned UK-based aerospace and engineering conglomerate, on July 24 entered into an agreement to supply 40 Trent 7000 engines along with TotalCare technical services for 20 new Airbus A330neo aircraft.
