The 10th Da Lat Flower Festival is scheduled to take place in December and will last until the end of the year, as announced by the Lam Dong provincial People’s Committee.

The biennial national and international cultural-tourism event will be embellished to feature the most beautiful flowers. As part of the occasion, hundreds of basket of flowers and plants will be put on display at major tourism sites, including Xuan Huong Lake, Prenn waterfall, and Le Dai Hanh flower road.

The festival will include a range of different activities, including a flower space, special art performances, fashion shows, and an exhibition depicting the Central Highlands as a paradise.

The highlight of the event will be the closing ceremony and an art programme aimed at welcoming in 2025.

First held back in 2005, the Da Lat Flower Festival has developed into an important cultural and tourist festival of Lam Dong province. It not only honours flowers and flower growers throughout the locality, but also provides an opportunity in which to promote investment, trade, and tourism in the region.

Da Lat was officially recognized by the Prime Minister as A Flower Festival City of Vietnam in 2012.

In 2022, the city was named among the world’s 10 best destinations to admire flowers by global travelers, according to the online travel platform Booking.com.

This comes as Da Lat was honoured with the Asia Festival City Award by the International Festivals & Events Association – Asia (IFEA – Asia) based on its successful organisation of the Da Lat Flower Festival since 2005.
