During their stay in Da Nang, the tourists are scheduled to visit popular destinations around the town, such as APEC Park, Cham Museum, Han Market, Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountains) National Monument, and Da Nang beach.
The cruise ship has initially departed from Hong Kong (China) to Singapore, passing through four destinations in Vietnam, namely Ha Long, Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
At 11:00 p.m. on November 15, the ship will leave from Da Nang to continue its journey around the country.
The Da Nang Department of Tourism said that this is one of the largest tourist groups coming from Europe and America by sea routes. The department has coordinated with relevant agencies in a bid to ensure security, order, and safety for tourists to elevate the city as a safe, friendly, and hospitable destination for all.
Earlier on November 11 Blue Dream Melody brought nearly 600 tourists from China to Da Nang’s Tien Sa port for sightseeing activities. The ship is expected to carry passengers back to the city on November 19.
Statistics show Da Nang welcomed 8.67 million visitors between January and September 2024, up 33% against the same period last year. The city is anticipated to receive 10.3 million arrivals this year, including 4.2 million international visitors, up 39% compared to figures from last year.
Next year, Da Nang has set a target of welcoming more than 10.5 million visitors, representing a rise of 6% over 2024.
