Cao Quoc Thang to vie for Mister Global 2024

Cao Quoc Thang, one of Mister Vietnam 2024’s Top 36 finalists, is set to represent Vietnam by competing for a title at the upcoming Mister Global 2024 male pageant, with the event scheduled to be held from September 24 to October 6 in Thailand.

The 21-year-old model hailing from Ho Chi Minh City stands at 1.93 metres tall, weighs 85kg, with body measurement of 99-77-103cm.

He is currently studying at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT) and now works as a model.

In June, Thang joined with several other contestants of Mister Vietnam 2024 to attend the ASEAN International Fashion Week in Singapore.

As "ASEAN model ambassadors", the five local models joined in with other outstanding candidates from various countries throughout the ASEAN region to show off costumes by 40 designers from Australia, the United States, Italy, the Netherlands, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Mister Global makes up one of the five largest global male beauty pageants. It was first held back in 2014 with the reigning champion being Jason Bretfelean from India.

Vietnam has so far recorded a number of outstanding achievements at various international contests.

Most notably, Vietnamese Taekwondo athlete Nguyen Van Son won Mister Global 2015, while Nguyen Huu Vi and Thuan Nguyen also grabbed third and fourth places in 2014 and 2017, respectively.

Ethnic Khmer Danh Chieu Linh went on to win Mister Global 2021.
