Berlin to host Vietnamese cultural festival

A Vietnamese cultural festival running with the theme of “Living in Berlin”, will be held at Dong Xuan Trade Center in Berlin, Germany, from July 25 to 28.

At a press conference held on June 27, the organisingboard revealed that the opening ceremony of the event will thrill visitors with a range of interesting art performances put on by Salty Crew, The Funky Monkeys, composer Another Nguyen, along withcomedian Mai My.

The event will also feature a performance by Saigon Soul Revival Band of Ho Chi Minh City.

Visitors will have the chance to enjoy delicious Vietnamese food and attend a talk show "Tracks & Talk" with the participation of NASHI44, an artist, singer, rapper, and composer of Vietnamese origin.

Moreover, a film screening featuring award-winningshort movies and a new series of the German public broadcaster ARD will also be held during the event.

The festival will be organised by the Berlin capital administration and Lichtenberg district.
