The Belgian Culture and Food Festival (B.Fest) 2024, the fourth of its kind and the largest Belgian event ever held in the nation, opened on October 25 in the northern port city of Hai Phong.

Upon addressing the opening ceremony, Belgian Ambassador to Vietnam Karl Van Den Bossche noted that the occasion has become an annual Belgian cultural event in the northern port city, offering a wide variety of Belgian beers, food, music, and other forms of entertainment services to local residents for their enjoyment.

Running with the theme of “Awaken the Senses”, B.Fest 2024 invites attendees to go on a captivating journey through Belgium's renowned culinary culture.

The three-day festival serves to showcase an unprecedented selection of 25 kinds of Belgian beer, many of which are new and have been brought especially for the current edition of the festival.

The function not only offers guests the chance to enjoy world-famous beers, but also aims to stage an explosive entertainment party, blending sound, light, and unique festival decor.

Local singers will perform alongside renowned DJs from Belgium who will heat up the festive atmosphere with modern EDM tracks over the three nights.

Performances by Belgian chefs, mini games, and many other exciting activities will also get underway.

The event is being jointly organised by the Embassy of Belgium, the DEEP C Industrial Zones – the largest Belgian-invested project in Vietnam, and the Belgian and Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam. It was first held back in 2019 before returning in 2022.

Most recently, B.Fest 2023 welcomed around 6,000 arrivals, becoming a cultural bridge to connect the two countries’ peoples and to promote mutual understanding.
