Over 100 photos showcasing 11 famous gardens in Beijing are being showcased at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi, helping visitors to discover similarities in cultural and historical aspects of both Vietnam and China.

The 11 famous historical gardens in Beijing and the China Garden Museum, including four World Heritage Sites, namely the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, the Fragrant Hills, and Zhongshan Park, have all been put on display at the function.

The exhibition introduces China’s traditional horticulture from the past, conservation efforts, and the development of modern urban landscape in Beijing.

The event also helps to further enhance cultural exchanges and promote co-operation between Hanoi and Beijing.

Since establishing relations in 1994, the partnership between the two capitals has been continuously strengthened in various fields, positively contributing to the friendly relations between the two countries.

Earlier, the “Thang Long-Hanoi, Connecting and Converging Heritage” exhibition was organised at the Summer Palace in Beijing last May, offering a glimpse of Hanoi to international friends.
