‘Arrival’ band to stage ABBA music in central Việt Nam

ĐÀ NẴNG — The ‘Arrival’ band will stage the Music of ABBA Show in the ancient town of Hội An and Đà Nẵng City on October 8-9 to celebrate the music of the Swedish pop giants.

Nguyễn Long An, a member of the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music in HCM City and representative of the organisers, said the show will also feature the Saigon Philharmonic Orchestra.

The 1980s famous top hits including Dancing Queen, Mama Mia, SOS, The Winner Takes It All, Money Money Money, and ‘Just a Notion’ – composed by two members of ABBA Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson and presented to Arrival from Sweden as a recognition for the Best ABBA show band.

Andre Pierre Gentzsch, General Director of International Furama-Ariyana Complex, said the music of ABBA will be the first-ever international music event in the destination, and it would spark more arrivals of world stars of music and bans to Đà Nẵng in the future.

The Arrival band will perform at Hội An Memories Land on October 8, and  Đà Nẵng City’s Ariyana International Convention Centre on October 9.

Ticket range from VNĐ800,000 (US$32) to VNĐ5 million ($200).
