A total of 359 products from 190 businesses were honoured with the National Brand Award 2024 at a ceremony held in Hanoi on November 4 evening.

After more than nine months of conducting a rigorous evaluation and reviewing applications from over 1,000 businesses, the Vietnam National Brand Council has selected and recognized 190 businesses with 359 products that meet the criteria for the National Brand Award 2024, making it the highest number ever awarded.

Among the awarded products, the proportion of industrial, processing, and manufacturing products; food processing; and trade and services was higher, with many well-known names and brands emerging in the market. Notably, there were 17 businesses that have had products selected for the Vietnam National Brand Award for nine consecutive cycles.

“This result not only reflects the growth and competitiveness of domestic businesses but also demonstrates the continuous creativity, innovation, and pioneering capability of the Vietnamese business community, contributing to the country’s entry into a new era, the era of national advancement,” said Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien at the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated the awarded businesses on their outstanding performance, saying “These are all businesses with impressive financial results, making a great contribution to the State budget, creating decent jobs and actively engaging in social welfare activities, contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of the country.”

The Prime Minister noted that in the coming time, businesses need to continuously seize opportunities from the green growth and sustainable development trends; take the lead in the green revolution; leverage the advantages of the National Brand Award’s reputation; actively seek and expand international markets; and engage more deeply in global supply chains.

“Businesses should adopt advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, big data, and automation in production, to minimize negative impacts on the environment and proactively transition into the green era,” said the Government leader.
